Signs Of Spring At Wittenau

At last Snowdrops ! Hardly a carpet of such  but a thrill . There were few and tucked away in old leaves under bushes .  Impossible for my knees to bend or squat so just did my best . The Rhododendron bushes had big fat buds. Easy to blip and underneath them more Spring flowers .A tiny offering but lovely .Soil here is more akin to sand .I'm no gardener but think the Autumn leaves have protected the tiny plants from the very cold days.
