Wet playtime today - embowered against the grey and the rain, the highlight of the day coffee and catch up with TJ. Just off out to Arthouse - a heavy one today: The Innocents . Sort of topical in a roundabout way as shocking things are being revealed over here concerning Mother and Baby Homes run by Nuns. One particular case is coming to the fore in which the remains of nearly 800 children( foetal up to aged up to 3 years old) have been discovered buried in the sewers underneath what was once a Mother and Baby home.The home closed in 1961 and no mention was made of the burials.  A ghastly tale of the abuse of unmarried mothers, infant death and child trafficking; a collusion between Church and State.
