Snipe

We are beginning a short break in Cumbria. We had a delicious meal in Beetham (thank you Knottman2 for the recommendation).

We went to Leighton Moss for a look around and saw a pair of snipe pecking around, their camouflage is wonderful! Whilst at the top of the viewing tower, a group of students surrounded us and we ended up having a free lecture on reed bed management.
