Backblip

What do you do when your house has been in a state of upheaval for nine months with building work, new central heating going in and utility room being ripped out?  You decide to decorate the spare room!  :-))  

The upside of this is I have spent many happy hours on various websites looking at many lovely things and ruling in and ruling out colour schemes, soft furnishings and accessories.  These are the final choices and the only photo I took today to text to Ele for her approval, as this bedroom is affectionately known as Eleanor and Kenny's room as they stay so often :-))
Thankfully it all met with her approval.  

 Billy, our trusted painter and decorator arrived to let me know how many rolls of wallpaper I'll need for the spare room and I was able to order it and take advantage of Laura Ashley's 50% sale on wallpaper and paint.  There's no way I would have paid full price.  Have sent for wallpaper samples for the entrance hall too and hoping they arrive before the discount ends.  If not, that will have to wait until the next sale

No builders in today as they need the plumber to move pipes in the utility room and he's not available till tomorrow.  It was a lovely glimpse of what life will be like once they are gone for good.  Blissful :-))
