Planting

Every time there's a new greens convener at our golf course they want to make changes, like some kind of masochistic memorial. This time we're getting lumbered with dozens of new trees, presumably because the thousands already there aren't quite in the right places. So this morning the greenkeepers were out planting. Or in this case not planting! They'd dug three holes, hauled three new, pretty big trees out there, then for some reason only planted one tree, filled two of the holes back in again, hauled another tree off somewhere else and just left the third one lying there. Mmmm, a new type of hazard that I'll probably find myself up against next time out!

Just back from the pictures, went to see Logan. It's as good as the reviews. No Oscars though, those guys gave no taste!
