Bufflehead Duck

Did a ride-along with friends while they played golf this morning. It was good to chat and laugh with the ladies. 

This pair of bufflehead ducks were trying to get away from me, but I think I captured them the best I could with the lens I had with me.  The male has gorgeous coloring. One of these days I am going to be in the right place and the right time with the right lens.

I am grateful for friends that keep me close.
