superb fairy-wren

On previous visits to Australia sightings of any fairy-wren had been fairly uncommon and exciting, but in the southeast we've seen hundreds of superbs (that's its name, not me being enthusiastic). It is a very common sight to see daddy (like this one) with mum and three or four young birds in various different plumages. They are still singing too, and today I noticed a brown juvenile male also singing.
