Angling to catch a few fish, either for the table or to put back in the river Cam. With a license, a certain amount of fish can be kept and these fishermen were taking advantage of a quiet day on the river. No rowers or other boats in sight, just a few swans The students are probably busy revising or doing their exams and no time for rowing.
