Long Day.
Woke up to the sad news that one of Mr P's friend had lost his final battle, hard to digest even though we have been expecting it.
Of course then talked about some of our memories of him.
I remembered his 21st birthday party when l first danced with Mr P and knew in those few minutes that he was the man for me and that l would spend the rest of my life with him.
Of course Mr P had no idea of this but we all know how that worked out.
Mr P cycled to Bolton Abbey and l walked to Ilkley to buy cakes.ln the supermarket l was next in line to the author of all the Postman Pat books (not sure that will mean anything to blippers from outside the UK) so had a good nosey at what was in his basket, all healthy l'm pleased to report.
Decided to get the bus home as l had the cakes, two bags of shopping a rucksack and my camera to contend with.
As l was sat waiting l saw someone who all blippers know about: one of the Famous Four no less.
Bob ( Earthdreamer) was mooching around looking for his blip, probably for his Identity journal, so l got my head down pretty quick!
Saw him approach his subject and l actually took a surepticious photograph of him blipping his blip!
Did think about publishing it but decided that wasn't fair play, so you have these daffodils instead.
Then this afternoon l went over to visit my best friend and her husband.
He's not having a good time at all and has just received good and bad news from the hospital.
We ate the cakes then spent the afternoon rearranging their lounge furniture to accommodate his hospital bed.
Home now, had two glasses of wine and some food, feel better but angry at what life throws at you sometimes.
I know l'll be fine in the morning.
