The Orangery

at Knole. Echoes of Virginia Woolf' 'Orlando', a favourite book, and a good one to contemplate on Women's Day. Knole was the childhood home of Vita Sackville-West. 

The extra shows the temptation which took me over my budget: moules, a Manx kipper, a bag of samphire and some rollmops. Fishmonger in Deal, where I was briefly visiting a very old friend whose smile was a delight, despite her being in less than great shape.
