Stunning blue

The skies were so clear this morning, as P and I walked down to the station to see M off for his next hospital visit. The foot operation went well, though he's now on crutches for the next 6 weeks. He looked fine later when I popped in and he should be back home on Friday.
By evening it was snowing hard again.
