Shell collection

My late husband enjoyed cleaning back very ordinary looking shells with acid to reveal the beauty of the mother-of-pearl underneath.  Here are some he worked on.  In a less acidic way, he did this with people too, having been a youth worker for many years trying to bring the good in people to the surface when they had gone astray.
