International Women's Day

I went to the rally downtown, which had drawn about 1,000 people by the time I left half way through. I spent most of my time chit-chatting with various attendees about their reasons for participating; good conversations, lots of commitment and goodwill as well.

The main pic is what this is all about for me: diversity in all its forms - age, gender, sexual preference, religion, all united in a common goal.

The extra plays on the color red of the signage and the symbol for today's events. And it's a cool hat ;)
