En Route

Is a French word. It is widespread used in the maritime branch. It means Underway and that's what we finally did this afternoon. I like French words but you don't see them too much in this English language dominated industry. The tug 'Schaartor' connected to the main bridle of the Ayang II this morning and is towing her to the Tombua Landana location. Maybe I'll show you I picture of the Schaartor tomorrow. This picture shows the accommodation (and the towing bridle) of the Ayang II. Can you imagine 380 crew members working and living on this barge for weeks? Must be pretty crowded I guess.
