Ready...

to take flight.  Always lovely to see the Monarch butterfly spreading their wings before taking flight for the first time.  It surprises me just how far some caterpillars  travel before deciding where to hang while others choose the plant they are on or very closeby.   The chrysalis in the extra photo is about seven metres from the nearest swan plant, and then on a piece of twine tying up a tomato plant.
