Banksia

It's definitely time to wack on the macro lens and take some images of the newly forming Banksia flowers.  It's the most wonderful time of the year for these great plants and very soon the flowers will become like bird magnets with the little honeyeaters feasting on their nectar.

I had a chance to practise my chipping and putting today and hopefully it will pay off when I compete in the regular weekly competition tomorrow.  The club championships continue on the weekend with 18 holes on each day.  We're all hoping and praying for some fine weather.
