Painting battens

Took car for its first service today. Nothing wrong, which was only to be expected, except for a noisy squeek in the rear suspension which I suspect is the result of a rear end shunt last year. Booked it in again to have further investigations carried out.

While the car was being attended to, I went for a swim and a bit of a do at the gym but Susan went home as she was feeling unwell. The afternoon, such as was left, was spent getting the battens painted ready to nail in place over the edge of the roofing felt that I replaced on the shed a few weeks ago.

In the evening Susan was able to go to her guitar lesson and I headed off in the opposite direction to the ukulele club meeting for three hours of strumming.
