clearing away breakfast

Breakfast is a routine; there are variations from time to time, but it usually involves the chopping of fruit.  And on occasion, like today, the disposing of flowers deemed past their best.

I don’t know why the flower disposing happens at breakfast time.  But it does.  In our house, at least.
