Past glories

I've passed this house, set back from the road in Hare Street, Hertfordshire, many times and always wanted a closer look. I think it is empty but I didn't want to go too close to the windows (out of courtesy and because there may have been an axeman behind the door!) It could become the perfect chocolate box house with a lot of money thrown at it. But then it would lose a lot of the fascination and charm
