Surrey in Spring

I pulled off the road on my way home from Guildford this morning to photograph this view across the fields in the spring sunshine. It was warm and sunny, and when I got home I threw open the windows to let in the warm fresh air. It was such a treat after so many days of gloom.
I had been in Guildford to play Mah-Jong. The tiles didn't go my way this morning, or maybe I am not playing as well as I used to. Whatever the reason, I went bankrupt. What a good thing we don't play for money.
