Spring is All Around

In Edinburgh for a few days.  

Off out bright and early, into the warm sunshine.  Called at the Eric Liddell Centre at Holy Corner - a church which has found a new purpose as a local community facility.  It was busy, as usual, but I managed to find a space amongst the babies and buggies to take this shot of one of the windows. The earth is surely coming awake.

After singing (an energetic session, we have a concert coming up), we met up with an 'old' friend ( old = have known her since we were both in ankle socks). She's having a significant birthday today, but we didn't dwell on that... 

We had a very nice lunch, a few glasses of fizz, and caught up on the last year's news. Now comfortably slumped, and remembering why I don't often drink at lunch time. But it was lovely.
