Way down to Lamorna.
The title has actually nothing to do with this blip photo, as this is an abstract of a Fatsia Japonica bush in the garden. (see extra for original)
However it has everything to do with our day spent in the Lamorna Valley.
One of the most beautiful places in Cornwall, and truly magical especially as today it was full of daffodils amongst the tangled trees, ivy and ferns along the side of the little river as it tumbled down to the sea.
However.........who forgot her camera!!!!! A blippers paradise too!!
So after the initial grumbling and a few choice words, I did enjoy the day, which also included a delicious lunch, of pumpkin ,parmesan and truffle oil soup, at The Lamorna Wink Pub.
I have done a link HERE to some of the paintings by the famous artist Samuel John Lamorna Birch ( 1869- 1955 ) who moved here and made it his home with other painters from the Newlyn School.
Must remember to keep my old camera in the car in future, just in case!
P.S. We did have good weather this morning, but changed to mist late afternoon.
