Countryside show

A local craft and country park held a countryside day today, events included gun dogs, horses and hounds, birds of prey, clay pigeon shooting and many such countryside things.

They also held a fun dog show, I took along Mexxi for her first dog show, MiMi came along with fellow blipper Koko(take a look at her blip today) and of course Roo, MiMi was in the first class the dog with the waggiest tail and easily won it, her tails a little rudder.

Mexxi went into the best rescue along side abandoned dogs and various other sad tales and she did us all proud she won a first( yippee) and Roo went into the final class only four went into it all the others happened to be spaniels and the class was best working dog, they made the dogs sit and stay and come to recall we were last to go, Roo sat quietly I took his lead off I walked to the judge and Roo slowly followed me, I told them he's a working dog of a different kind and told them the story of his therapy work, they relayed this to the audience, at this point he walked over to the judge and promptly sat at her feet waiting for his fuss, I told her that was his job.
They asked me to return to the line up and call Roo, he ran up to me like the best working dog ever... I'm proud to say he got runner up in the class.
