S U (skinners union)

The S U Carburetter was invented in 1904 by Herbert Skinner and his son and was used to regulate fuel to many 20th century British cars before the introduction of fuel injection systems. The company became part of Morris motors before liquidation in 1994.

My 1968 spitty car has 2 of these which literally make it tick and come to life. It did today :-) The picture is of the float chamber.

Also managed to give the grass a cut today. This also has a small Carburetter hidden somewhere.

Strange word the carb' with a few spellings

Lesson over! Have a great Friday night folks :-)
