Cooling their heels

We stopped for a coffee on our way home tonight. It's the weekend hooray.

Last night I thought I might be spending some of Saturday washing my and thechimp's smalls by hand as the washing machine had stopped working. Then I noticed that there was a rather foul smell coming from it. After a bit of investigation thechimp extracted a revoltingly blocked filter with all sorts of interesting things stuck in it - including a nail file - I never use nail files! It was very satisfying cleaning it up and once it had been cleaned the washing machine worked perfectly again.
