Field trip

My husband actually left the house today for a field trip - to Blenheim Palace, or in fact estate. He's been utterly snowed under with the latest assignment and today had the next two issued.  I think it was a very welcome outing and incredibly good to be out in the open air and well away from the dreaded desk. 

We had our normal Friday at 'Friday under Fives', which always means very tired children afterwards. Predictably, there were tears from both before they were both out for the count after lunch.  Hurrah - peace and quiet for me!
