Released and relieved

I picked up M from hospital and we stopped off for lunch on the way home at a tiny cafe in a nearby village, which lies on the marathon route. There were many out enjoying the sunshine and good snow, making up for yesterday's conditions.
Needless to say, M was beaming, given he was now up and out of his hospital bed. Now it's matter of time and patience.
