M. is CC's 10 year-old stepson - he started playing two years ago & has a phenomenal ear. He plays everything his tutor throws at him with aplomb, but he plays a mean blues to amuse himself.

He speaks perfect Flemish & French & his English is frighteningly good. He's always getting into trouble at school because he's always top of his class & so bored.

Roll on next year when he'll be going to a school where he will be suitably stretched.

Lovely meal with CC, S, M, & Cécile - Gratin au Munster - delicious & good company! "Gratin au Munster" is basically a bit of butter, onions, bacon, a very few herbs & loads of sliced potatoes all mixed up with wedges of Munster over the top & bake until the cheese is a decent brown.

CC & S bought the Munster during their stay in the Vosges. Munster's a right stinky cheese with a magnificent flavour!
