Rocks!

One of the local childminders has set up a treasure hunt sort of thing around town where people paint, decorate, varnish and hide stones in areas of open space. They then upload photos to the hunt's facebook page of the location, with varying degrees of difficulty in actually telling where it is. The challenge is then to find the stones.

My little one's childminder has got in on the craze and has been getting her minded children to paint and hide some stones. The children then have this secret that only they know and they can pass it on to friends and family and surprise us with just what is hiding in that big tree over there.

It makes for a fun walk home from school and so cute to se my little one saying to his big brothers, "come and see over here, you won't believe your eyes".
