This was taken on my way home - a brief stop at a favourite spot beside the Moutere estuary near the marina at the Motueka wharf, NZ.

The tide has turned and pushing up the channel and flowing across the mudflats. The distant hills are shrouded in low cloud and rain

The rain started last night and continued all day. Compared to areas further north where flooding and slips are causing many problems we have nothing to complain about.


Thank you for the many stars, hearts and lovely comments for my previous blip showing the last of the days light as the sun sinks below the mountain range to the west of Motueka. I really do appreciate your visits and gifts.
