The Old Gate

An incredibly cold and frosty day, but very still and beautiful, so first thing Ollie and I went out to make the most of it! He dashed about and I stamped on icy puddles and we both had a great time! Later we took my sister to the airport, but there was a mix up with her itinerary and so she is now with us until Friday - which is good news for us, but less good for her son and dog, who were expecting her home for new year. Poor lad has cleaned the house ready for her and everything! She had also stripped her bed, as a well brought up guest, so we had to remake that when we got back to the house!

Spent the afternoon doing crosswords, drinking tea and coffee and nibbling on chocolate, mince pies and stollen!
