Office to let through a quatrefoil

This is taken from outside the Royal Court which is part of a large complex building part old and part ultra modern which houses the States Chamber, Royal Court, Magistrates Court, The Greffe which is Guernsey's Register Office and where I was married and the offices of HM Sheriff and HM Sergeant.
Many years ago when I first started work (actually 1964) HM Sheriff's office was situated in the little office opposite the Royal Court which you can see through the quatrefoil. I'm not sure whether you have a sheriff on the mainland these days but our sheriff's duties are certainly not like those of a sheriff in the old wild west http://www.guernseyroyalcourt.gg/article/1657/Sheriffs-Office
