Building a bridge

One of the first steps in the Plaza renovation required the building of a brand new, very spiffy, bridge. And here it looks nearly completed. I suspect that it should be open any day now.

Today started with me handing out little sticker hearts for Flag Day and raising funds to support the Evangelical Free Church of China in Hong Kong's efforts with caring for the elderly, children's services and various community services. It was the first time for me and it sure felt different being on the other side asking people to make donations as they passed by. A true learning experience for sure, but quite successful ;-) in the three hours we were out there.

Followed by a declicious dim sum lunch as a reward for all those who participated and then worship practice.
