American Robin in Sycamore Tree

I went out with my 400mm lens plus a 1.4 extender attached. I have to manually focus, which makes it hard with things on the move. This beauty sat in the tree for me long enough to get some good shots.

I am not confident of the focus I see in the view finder, so I take quite a few shots, refocus, shoot and hope. This time it worked out quite well.

I am grateful for the blue skies, birds and buds on the trees.
