The Exploited
The first stranger I met when I came home today was this one. He appeared to be a hardcore fan of the Scottish punk band The Exploited. The very last time I heard of that band was in 1984, but he assured me the band was still alive and kicking.
See for yourself:
The Exploited are a Scottish punk band from the second wave of UK punk, formed in 1979. Originally a street punk band, they transformed into a faster hardcore punk band with a heavy political influence. Formed in Edinburgh by ex-soldier Wattie Buchan, they signed to Secret Records in March 1981 and released their debut EP Army Life. The album Punks Not Dead followed in the same year. Despite many lineup changes, the band continued into the 2000s and has developed a worldwide following.
