SOS Puffin
We went to Craigleith Island in the Firth of Forth with a group to cut the tree mallow before the puffins arrive. We were last here in October. Hard work, and getting off the RIB onto a very slippery algae covered rock and then hauling ourselves and all of the bags of equipment up the rocks was even more exciting. It was a very calm day and we were rewarded with the antics of a seal, who was then joined by two others. They were very curious about what we were doing. This one seems to be keeping a very close eye on us.
