Tim and I both worked from home this morning, and had this afternoon as leave. We were due to go on a Hidden London tour of the Clapham South deep level shelter, but ended up sitting in A&E all afternoon instead. We're bloody doomed with everything we book! Tim had had what seemed like an ocular migraine last night, but his vision was still not quite back to normal by this morning, so he went to the doctor's, and after checking with the opthalmology department at King's, she referred him there (via A&E).
I finished work at lunchtime, we headed over there, and then sat in the waiting room watching the time tick by until finally we had missed the tour :( Anyway, Tim got properly checked out, and they ruled out anything more sinister and said it must have been migraine-related, which was reassuring.
Ordered a Chinese takeaway for dinner, and had a lovely chilled out evening in - and Tim let me photograph his still-massive pupil (after having some drops put in to dilate it for the tests). Had to do it in low light though, as his eyes were still really sensitive - hence the high ISO and generally crap photo!
