Another one bites the dust...

...arrived home to find our local pub shut, and not only shut, but deserted and boarded up...
There were signs like this all over the premises, and all the doors and windows were shuttered. Other notices said that people who use the car park after Monday would find themselves hemmed in by concrete blocks, and would have to pay £500 to release their vehicles! Decidedly unfriendly, we thought ;(
Sadly, these measures look rather permanent - first the chapel, then the shop, now the pub... we are truly an amenity-less village!
