Sugar Shakin'

Big party at the Cockhaven tonight. Ten of my friends, all born in 1952 celebrated their birthdays en masse tonight. Music was provided by Mother's Ruin and The Sugar Shakers who did two excellent sets of R & B and Rock'n'Roll  numbers. Five years ago for their 60ths we had more impromptu occasion with all sorts of village acts performing music. That was great fun but this was a more swish party and lots of fun. Roll the 70th!

I know it's not a great shot, I just grabbed a couple with my phone but it sums up the evening and puts a marker in the journal of a great night.
