The Austral Hotel

This place, on Adelaide's Rundle Street, was buzzing when we went past on Friday evening, and the whole city is alive at the moment with the annual 'Mad March' activities: Festival, Fringe, WOMADelaide (world music festival), and today the Adelaide Cup. The building dates back to the early-mid 1800s apparently and is typical of many we've seen in South Australia with its fancy verandah and iron pillars.
