Vintage Home Fair

Today was a Vintage Home Fair at Victoria Baths.  We had over 1000 visitors and the place was really 'buzzing'.  When we have one of these fairs it is usually pretty quiet in the shop - people come to spend their money at the fair and give the shop a miss.  But not today - it was really busy right from the start until my shift in the shop finished.

I should add that the photo is of the centre of the three pools.  The pool is currently floored over so that it can be used as a sports hall and for events.  This is actually what they did with the main pool in the winter in the early days of the baths - it was too cold to go in the pool in the winter, so they floored it over and used it as a dance hall.
