Derelict Sunday - Toxic Gas

Finlay and I had an early walk this morning (7 a.m.) as we were heading off to see MIL in the Northeast later in the morning.

The main shot is of a very derelict door in the boundary wall of Bramham Lodge. Until recently it has been overgrown with ivy and this has now been cut back. You can see the marks where it has grown across. I love the slightly sinister sign on an otherwise innocuous looking door! My entry for Derelict Sunday

Thanks to AngelsShare for hosting.

I also shot a rather misty view of the church across the rooftops - in extras.

Our daughter and her husband and our granddaughter came with us to visit MIL and we all went out for lunch at Walworth Castle. Our daughter dropped off a load of washing to run during the day and she also collected a couple of loads that I washed and dried for her yesterday....her very expensive, six month old washing machine has broken down, and trying to get hold of customer services has been painful to say the least. A week after it stopped she still has no appointment for a repair visit. With a toddler in the house, the washing soon piled up. Dad to the rescue, again!
