The Dome

Could be a new TV series. Kind of sums up our ace weekend in Edinburgh.

Today included the pool, The National Gallery, mooching through beautiful New Town, Teuchters, more mooching, The fabulous Dome for a late dinner, an in & out @ The Balmoral & then we have fallen just on to the rather full train that now, in its haste, races south to London.

As we drop towards the border, Scotland rests behind us in the golden setting western sun. To my left the east coast sea view begins to fade into an evening of twilight. Has this bonny land ever looked more fair?
