Nearly forgot a photo again today, this morning I went to dad's and collected his hearing aid and took to the clinic where they put new tubes on and tested it. It worked fine so the problem is his ears. Back to his house and he was feeling depressed that it wasn't fixed, and he had a bit of a cry. Keith arrived and we took him out in his wheelchair, first to call by at an old friend of his who is moving into sheltered housing, and then onto the Methodist Church who run a friendship day with teas and biscuits.It was hard work pushing him up and down the hill but it lifted his spirits.Home for a quick lunch and then off to see mum, (dad decided he did not want to go today, it was very hard for him last time as she did not remember him). She was in the cinema room at the home watching a James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. As she was in the front row, we sat at the back and watched for a while until  lots got a bit restless, then we sprang her into the library room and had tea. She was in a good mood, no idea where she was, she thought it was my house and thought I had new chairs etc. We left after a couple of hours, and went back to Dad's and gave him his tea. I went shopping on the way home, and then cooked dinner. The care agency had emailed next weeks rota so I wrote it out during the evening, and then to bed.
