Next stage...

So moving on from yesterday's post I managed to make two joined links and they work rather well. Still not entirely convinced it will work when fully realised but it'll be fun trying. I even found a knot to easily tie the beading elastic I'm using.

Picked up a wood cutter for the dremmel which will hopefully make these intricate cuts a bit easier.
