Four-eyes

Our small pond is heaving with life at the moment.  After a barren few years the plants are flourishing and and we have what looks like a triffid root growing in the middle.  From the house window we can see the surface bubbling with frogs... but when I go outside they dive underneath.

After waiting for quite a while this one popped up again, though I think I've been spotted!

For those that need to know, the number of sweets in the jar was 343 and Sam managed to raise nearly £80, much of which was thanks to generous online donations.
