Where did you begin 2008?
on the couch in our apartment, watching the Twilight Zone marathon on SciFi

What was your status by Valentine's Day?
planning our summer wedding

Were you in school anytime this year?
no, but I did have an interview at an art school, but then decided to have our second baby first

How did you earn your money?
Full-time parents don't get paid in monetary value

Did you have to go to the hospital?
nope

Did you have any encounters with the police?
I was in a car accident (totally not my fault!) and my car was damaged and I needed to call the local police on the scene.

Would you relive 2008 over and over again?
It was a great year, but I'm looking forward to the year ahead.

Did you know anybody who got married?
almost all my friends got married this year

Did you know anybody who passed away?
not anyone I knew personally

Did you know anyone who had a baby?
a few people did

Did you move anywhere?
we did

What concerts/shows did you go to?
I went with my in-laws to the Carrie Underwood concert, and it was amazing!

Are you registered to vote?
yes, and I did vote in the election

Do you still have the same job as you did in 2007?
Being a parent is a job you never quit and I've come to learn it's the toughest job you'll ever love.

Has anyone betrayed you in 2008?
yes and the hurt of it was that it was family...

Describe your birthday?
My birthday is four days apart from Ryan's. Mine was on a Tuesday and his was on a Saturday, but I was getting a wisdom tooth extracted on Friday, so we couldn't celebrate over the weekend. We planned on a nice family dinner out, but my friend ended up desperately needing a sitter, so we decided to take her daughter out with us to celebrate at the Olive Garden. It was great practice for next year, when we may actually have another one!

What's one thing you thought you'd never do but did in 2008?
I stood up to my mother.

What has been your favorite moment?
our wedding day

What's something you learned about yourself?
I'm stronger than I thought I was...

Any new additions to your family?
We actually had some subtracted. Before our move, we had two kitties, but our new apartment didn't allow pets, so we had to find them new homes.

What music will you remember 2008 by?
"Save the Last Dance for me" by Michael Buble

Who has been your best drinking buddy/buddies?
Ryan is usually the one picking me up off the floor on nights when I've had too much, which isn't that often these days.

New friend?
I made some when I joined a local mom's group.

Favorite Night out?
My bachelorette party!!

Would you say you've changed since the beginning of this year?
I think I've learned to really stand up for myself over this passed year and not let people treat me like crap.

Do you think 2009 will be better or worse?
A year has 365 days...that's alot of days to have ups and downs, so who knows.
