Promise of a good day

We woke to a glorious morning and the day was spectacular. The race went well: I didn't fall, I avoided the crashes and I was pleased with my time. Most importantly, I enjoyed it. The extra shows the start of the race, taken from the bus as I was arriving!
Afterwards the celebrations began, both for the marathon and for my birthday, which included prosecco and birthday cake. A deserved indulgence.
