Waving goodbye

After spending time with the part of our family that lives in Reykjavík, Keflavík and Copenhagen, we drove back home to Akureyri. My daughter is waving from the balcony, imitating the gesture of my in-laws, as they used to come out and wave us goodbye, when they lived in that same apartment. Now my mother in law is no longer with us, and my father in law is in a nursing home. But I took a photo of them for my blip in September 2014, when they waved us from the balcony for the very last time.
