The Country Life

We went for a walk along Buttermere Lake this morning with Mistert1ckle and his family. Ethan and L did well although Ethan lagged behind a few times. They enjoyed being shown how to skim stones and racing each other, before having a rest on a fallen log.

In the afternoon, the whole group went to Whinlatter for nature activities and a play in the adventure playground there.

So lots of energy burned in the fresh air - the kids were well and truely ready for their 9pm story and bed tonight!
